Autumn Equinox Blessings!
Why did I dream about reading "Twas the Night before Christmas" last night? I have no idea! Except that the end of summer does kind of feel like the beginning of a long, slow slide into the long, cold winter, even though we enjoy beautiful long autumn seasons here in the Northeast US.
Last week I was working on the deck in shorts and bare feet with my sunhat on, and now I've retreated indoors. My warm perches include the dining room table, living room couch and the desk and futon/couch in my actual office upstairs. I even curled up in bed with my laptop Saturday morning to research sights to see on our upcoming trip to Maine.
Phil has been making delicious sauce from the abundant tomatoes in our garden and we're looking forward to a healthy squash and pumpkin harvest soon.
How are you transitioning into this season, wherever you are? Are you glad the hot summer is over or sad that winter is coming? What do you love most about autumn? I'd love to hear from you in the comments.
I'm looking forward to quite a few exciting upcoming events from visiting the Atlantic Ocean to meeting with the Reiki Practice Circle, scheduling the next Bring Reiki to Life with Reiki 1 and Expand Your Horizons with Reiki 2 classes, and planning the 10/31 free virtual Essential Arts community gathering for Ancestral Healing. Stay tuned for more details on all these events, and sign up for the Essential Arts newsletter so you don't miss a thing.
